Coffee

randoming around today.

i shall now start phys mugging in earnest. but first, blog ^^

today was eating lunch, the canteen peopleless. so in the end decided to continue queing for greenplate. actually quite fast.
after that, i decided to go buy a coffee. so as i sat down drinking alone, lky n zack came up lol. thx ^^
after discussions on the effect of coffee on health, work, sleep and general sanity, the great lky came up with a scale to rate dependence (read: addiction), with contributions from zack, zc- and wq-sama, lester etc.

on another note, back in class, y3 and other random pple (including yours truly) were standing around and trading lame jokes, credit to y3, nicholas, jerrold etc.etc. as a result of this, the coffee, the laughter, and so on, i went on a high for the rest of the day. which was about 40 minutes.

sugar high ~ time to mug. but first, hrp OD. tag, ppls.

COFFEE MODEL OF DEVELOPMENT
Stage 0
Coffee is not drunk at all.

Stage 1or, Conditions for Take off
Non-habitual drinking of coffee. Coffee is drank irregularly, often only in times of need, and when necessary. At this stage, coffee usually has its maximum impact.

Stage 2 or, Take off
Habitual drinking of coffee. In more developed Stage 2 cases, coffee may be drunk everyday. Transition from Stage 1 to Stage 2 usually, but may not always, indicate an increase in stress levels or need for coffee.

Stage 3 or, Drive to Maturity
Habitual or daily drinking of coffee, even when not needed. Transition from Stage 2 to Stage 3 usually indicates a growing attachment to drinking coffee, developing from a sheer need to become more of a want. The impacts of coffee on alertness noticably reduce.

Stage 4 or, Maturity
Substantial to almost total reduction of the impact of coffee on alertness. Regular coffee no longer fufills its function to keep the drinker more alert. Transition from Stage 3 to Stage 4 is more gradual, and is defined where drinking coffee does not has a significant effect on the alertness levels of the drinker, as compared when no coffee was drunk.

Stage 5 or, the Age of Mass Consumption
Habitual drinking of coffee causes symptomps which were not present before. A main symptomp is dihorrea. In developed Stage 5 cases, the drinking of a small amount of coffee (for example, one cup) is enough to trigger such symptomps. Transition from Stage 4 to Stage 5 is defined where "normal", or non-excessive drinking of coffee, as defined by the drinker, triggers unhealthy symptomps.

Stage 6 or, the Age of Diversification of Talent
Drinking of coffee, whether to the former amount or otherwise, is required to fall asleep. Transition from Stage 5 to Stage 6 is defined as where coffee begins to serve another key functional role other than its two main perceived roles of alertness and taste.

Stage 7 or, the Age of Talent Substitution
The coffee drinker switches to Vitasoy.
