1. What do you think of your roles and responsibilities as a student leader and how you relate to the "average student" in your school/CCA?

*begins in a mild singalong voice* The duties of a student leader are to provide servant leadership, guidance, fried fish, and et cetera to the rest of the CCA and the wonderful organisation of the world...

seriously though, it kinda differs for both. for mt, it's more of a job-oriented thing, although there is some club bonding (jabs at the chairman's presence, joking about which junior to use for next week's barbecue and so on) as a student leader there i think the role i play is to keep everyone reminded of the importance of their jobs. coz mt is a special case, in the sense that it actually plays an everyday role.

which is why, most mt people will tell you that i do tend to get pissed about people not taking thier job seriously, or discounting mt as just a filler ^^ and the earlier post on how 8 random people managed to invade into the CR with joel on duty just... pisses me off.

i think it's real good to have a chance to lead like that... and i srsly hope that this batch of leaders have helped to make a positive uplift of mt, for years to come.

in db, its a different story... it's quite farmily-like athmosphere, with everyone knowing everyone else... its true that what mt lacks, db complements. and i'm really honoured to have served in (the smallest! lol) leadership role. leadership aside, i think i have a good deal of bonding with both the seniors and the juniors... so i'm quite lucky in that aspect. as such, my "leadership duties" would have been to try to keep good relations within the club, make our everyday activites enjoyable and stuff like that...? i do hope i've served as a good senior, more than as a leader.

average student-wise, i think i should be able to keep in touch and greater familiarity with the average junior... seeing how we still manage to spend so much time together ^^

2. Is there any one in your life at the moment that you have/could potentially have romantic feelings for? No need to name names, but please describe her as clearly as you can without compromising anonymity, if you so desire.

with all seriousness, no, not yet. <=D on a vaguely related note, i do have an object (inanimate) which i am supposed to care for "like my wife" like teh nccs and teh rifles. however, it is not a 5kg rifle (that would be inconvenient to say the least, nor do i have the determination to piece together a rifle replacement like kahhow). unfortunately, during this mugging season, i haven't really seen it much. but that's besides the point.

3. If you could be completely honest with one person with no repercussions whatsoever, what would you say to him/her (you don't need to say who the person is)?

surprisingly enough, i don't have anything much to say to anyone in particular.

maybe because i'm (relatively) straightforward, and things i rather not say, i don't.

4. If there's one person in your social circle you could be instead for a day, who would you choose and why?

this is hard. i really don't know anyone i'd want to swap places for a day.

although, given that some mad scientists / evil caricature of an antagonist / random person switches me with someone, i don't think i'd really get screwed over.

i'll probably think along the lines of "this isn't that bad" to "this could just work out" or "at least it's just a day". following which i'd see what i can do.

then again, i believe i carry out good facade performances everyday, as such i think i'd be able to get on by.

5. If you could choose three people from the Sec 4 iSpark cohort to be part of your real family, who would they be, why, and how would they be related to you?

probably steo and lkh.

steo and lkh because i feel most at ease with these two. out of the original band of people i used to be with, only these two have actually bothered (or were by circumstances unfortunately forced to) keep in contact with me, and as such, i think i'd be most at ease around them. furthermore, we've spent enoguh time together to know more about each other: that kind of experience that you can get only if you've known each other for some time.

i wouldn't know where they'd stand in our hypothetical family tree bark, but probably ranging anywher from older brothers to cousins. they're close enogh to be older brothers (what with steo continally physically engaging in battle, and lkh heh-ing at everything anyone says) although we'd probably take some more time to get used to each others' idiosyncracies.

although the boarding school experience has taught us its not that hard after all.

like what with that time we bought andric a pink skirt.

there are a lot of other people i'd like to be closer with: but the best we've come close to is to strike up a good friendship. not that it's bad, some of these friendships are really quite good. but after time, some of us kinda drifted apart due to two years of being apart, and as such, yeah.
or we just never really was able to hammer out any sparkle in our friendship, because you guys already have your own close circle of friends (no blame), and i'm actually quite glad to be befriended by you pple: seeing im the odd one out (literally guai4.) <=D i guess i'm really the running-off-on-tangents optimistic little siaokia, aint i. ---
