Connection

yay i have my internet connection back.

after a day of frenzy, i finally got to the hint that my LAN settings were off: they were in fact the settings for my workplace at Hum Chee International.

yay now it's back. ^^

that said, the lit seminar was mildly interesting. go with steo and hubert, not interesting sia. not with all the random remarks flying arnd.

it started off pretty slow (no kidding) but i got pulled to attend a talk given by a certain mr/dr warren, so... yeah. steo was betting he would rmb me, and i said he won't, so it was kinda a surprise when he addressed me by my nick. thanks ~

so we went for his lecture after many of our other friends went for the Learning Activities National CENTER (heh), and discussed various forms and techniques. in the end he gave us some random things to act as stimuli for us to be more "creative" or "inspired": namely, 1. dark chocolate. 2. his shoe. 3. wasabi. 4. a bowl of black squishy slime. 5. sour gummies.

jon wong got 3 and he wrote a very cheem piece complete with italian, french (maybe?) musical notations which were all cheeminology for the rest of us oO as usual xD

steo crafted one dedicated to 1, after declaring "i don't think the first piece gave me much inspiration. i'll get another." heh. to do him justice, he got a piece for hubert and meh.

i just randomly decided to write off a short poem on 5 because i had decided to do something else (but related). i also thought through it k, think of it as alternative music. it's up to ur minds to decide (im not going to say if u r intelligent enuf to read my mind, it's entirely open to ur interpretation xD)

after a zhummage by jonwong and laurang together, laurang promptly asked me to send it to her after a couple of hours. oO ah well, such is life.

the last part of the day was arguably the most random. we went to all squeeze into this room (with about anoth 40+ pple?) and watched steo and other random pple present. heh. soso lah, we oso managed to watched clips from the mummy. haha.

and then steo introduced me to someone who has a crush on liks (orly?) who turns out to be almost as random as us. waha.
