Realisation

i keep thinking it's thursday today.

after eureka (which went kinda well) and getting a nice new scald on my elbow (fish lah), tailor pnghy n i discovered a helium balloon tt the participnts dint want. so we went and released it.

and then got death threats from hongnan because we forgot to sign his name as well ><>

besides that, had a slack session with tailor pnghy at e lib while waiting for the some cultural thingy. ended up wasting 2h on a comic book (while tailor pnghy had ff and pokemon xD) and eventually went for the cultural thingy. which turned out to be an indian dance exhibition. not bad. quite interesting actually. esp the part when they went to scare tanbb xD

pnghy pokemoned. i think he's addicted xD. tailor took out his laptop in the middle of teh performance oO lol. wasn' very obvious i dun think any1 saw. (other than pnghy n me)

and den teh evil 1337 cuber (wonglkd) came and pnghy and i spent 25min deciding whether he should go in or not, and risk getting spotted for lateness (tanbb was quite pissed with the rest for being late). in the end he got in unnoticed, and pple later than him just walked straight in without getting collared xD (lol zc) shao whin sia. lol.

and den bencheong tells me of this time when this grp of people just barged straight into the control room and explored it of their own accord, including restricted places where even mtech personnel "need" authorisation and at most can support only 2 pple. then 8 friking boliao pple just went.

undisclosed location, but suffice to say having too many pple RLY wasnt a gd idea.

which raises the questn of respect. although the boss seems to think respect basically means total submission to authority, no questioning etc. etc. i think this kinda went past the line of NORMAL accepted respect. respect for privacy, respect for basic instruction, respect for the "authorised personnel only", respect for the poor joel there trying to tell them they can't do tt.

respect after assmbly by not TURNING OFF THE FRIKING LITES for NO FRIKING REASON.

i think mtech is kinda used to not being recognized (or recognized when things screw up, take ur pick). but i think this kind of crap is going too far. yes, i'm retired, yes, i'm also quite boliao, but i dun go into CO practices and fiddle with their erhus, neither do i go into TnF sessions and slp on the track.


i'm going to stand guard with a heavy cable in my hand.
