What is going on in the world?



Now that I've actually had time to slow down, you know what keeps us from ennui? Work, and school. Yes. Precisely.



The things which everyone detests so much actually keeps us from going batshit bored and insane. And honestly though, there's only so much DoTA you can have before you tire of it. In fact, the presence of (unwanted?) work whets your appetite for it.



In the end, what's in all in aid of? A single piece of paper. Or a couple of pieces of paper, if you're lucky. For what? To get a better job, so you can have more peices of paper with famous people and numbers printed on them.



I recall saying, near the end of last year, that 4 years of my life were accumulated into one of such pieces of paper. Really didn't know how that felt until then. It's kinda saddening, really.



In the end, all this is a futile attempt trying to justify one's existence on the earth, and to kill time while we still have it (or before it kills us).



But, cheer up. Since it's here to stay, don't fight against it, but flow with it. Be happy, even in the paper chase - don't let it dominate your life, but keep within the system and be happy where you are.



Anyway when the bomb goes off it won't make a difference, so might as well be happy while you can yes?
